STIN Education and Research
Graduate School of Science, Technology and Innovation (STIN) was established in April 2016 as the first graduate school of transdisciplinary science and humanities in Japan realized through the cooperation of faculty members from both the natural and social science departments of Kobe University.
STIN aims to cultivate human resources with a natural science background who have learned the skills to promote R&D in interdisciplinary fields of advanced science and technology, combined with entrepreneurship to design processes for business creation based on research findings.

- Advanced Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Promotion of the development of new methodologies leading to the novel clinical diagnosis and therapy, by utilizing innovative strategies such as computational simulation, and vaccine platform technologies, further using special medical industry zone in Kobe. -
